Ernst Erzherzog von Österreich was born on 8 August 1824 at Milan, Italy.2 He was the son of Rainer Joseph Johann Erzherzog von Österreich and Maria Elisabeth di Savoia-Carignano, Principessa di Carignano.1 He married Laura Skublicsde Velike et Bessenyö, daughter of Alajos Skublicsde Velike et Bessenyö, on 26 April 1858 at Laibach in a privately marriage.2 He died on 4 April 1899 at age 74 at Arco, Italy.2 Ernst Erzherzog von Österreich was a member of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine.2 He gained the title of Erzherzogin von Österreich.2 He was baptised with the name of Ernst Karl Felix Maria Rainer Gottfried Cyriak.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant Field Marshal in the service of the Austrian Army.2
